Sales Rep with experience selling to residential and multi-family electrical contractors: The territory will include Pennsylvania and Maryland
Responsible for selling wire and LV conductors to residential and multi-family electrical contractors.
Roles and Responsibilities are as follows:
1. Exceed sales goals. 2. Connect and develop relationships with electricians, builders, and electrical inspectors within respective territory. 3. Develop territory plan that includes face-to-face meetings with all relevant decisions makers (Electrician, Builder, Inspector), join and attend local trade associations. 4. Serve as brand ambassador within respective territory. Experience: - 5+ years of sales experience within defined territory in construction industry. Preference is experience selling electrical products e.g., devices, wire, etc. directly to residential electrical contractors but would also consider candidates with a strong background in the National Home Builder space. Please note that candidates whose sales experience is exclusively to distributors and/or commercial/industrial in nature are likely not a fit for this position. The candidate needs to have the ability to quickly learn a specific product offering and effectively communicate its value proposition to a targeted audience. Analytical skills are important.
Base salary plus uncapped commission. Vehicle mileage and phone allowance. Very large earning potential for an experienced go-getter!
