Sales Development Rep (Entry-Level)

From career exploration to experiential learning and mentorship, they help learners navigate their unique path toward a fulfilling career.

Now, we're looking for an energetic and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team and play a key role in building relationships with institutions and decision-makers who are passionate about student success.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE...AT LEAST 2 Days a week in the office. The office is located in West Warick, RI.

We are looking for entry-level...right out of college or less than 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Qualify Leads: Identify potential customers through research, outreach, and social selling. Use tools like LinkedIn, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo to build targeted lists and segment leads.
  • Initiate Contact: Reach out via email, phone, and social channels to engage prospects. You'll craft compelling messaging that resonates with higher ed professionals and communicates the company’s value.
  • Set Appointments: Book discovery calls and demos for our Account Executives. You'll be the first touchpoint in building meaningful client relationships.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns and messaging. Share insights with Sales and Product teams to improve our approach and offerings.
  • Track and Measure: Manage your pipeline and activities in HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or similar client-facing role (EdTech or SaaS preferred, but not required)
  • Strong communicator – confident on the phone, clear in writing, and able to build rapport quickly
  • Self-starter – you take initiative, manage your time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Mission-driven – excited by our vision of creating equitable access to career opportunities
  • Tech-savvy – comfortable with CRM tools, email sequencing platforms, and researching prospects online

Base salary of $55,000 plus commissions...OTE first year will be around $65K
