We are looking for a Director, Acquisition Marketing to drive growth and conversions.

The candidate will own our paid acquisition strategy and the optimization of our marketing data and reporting tools. The ideal candidate has a strong background in performance marketing with experience launching, managing, and scaling paid ad campaigns. The Director of Acquisition should also have a solid technical and quantitative foundation with a strong understanding of data collection, segmentation, and analysis. The right candidate understands the relationship between marketing and creative and is comfortable transitioning between strategy work and execution; all while being a strong process partner across all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Own the customer conversion funnels for all paid channels including the development and management of a robust testing plan to maximize conversion.
  • Fully own the company’s paid search accounts (Google Ads, Facebook, CTV, etc) from strategy to the day-to-day execution and optimizations.

-Own and manage all organic social pages including the creative, content, and schedule

Oversee email marketing email campaigns and calendars. Own the email lifecycle strategy and create content for auto generated and promotional campaigns.

  • Develop an aggressive testing plan for creative and new channels/ tactics to ensure the right channel mix and messaging for each audience.
  • Manage implementation of all ad operations requirements including tracking, tagging, and ensuring seamless integration across pixels and platforms.
  • Build forecasts for acquisition channels using historical brand data as well as industry and channel benchmarks
  • Own the acquisition channel budget including total spend needs and allocation with expected returns
  • Build KPIs framework and establish targets that support our aggressive growth Goals. Report KPIS for each channel on a weekly basis.
  • Examine website performance and conversion to advise on ways to eliminate friction in customer journeys.
  • Direct affiliate marketing agency to further develop affiliate program/channel
  • Report weekly and monthly on channel performance and optimizations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of performance/growth marketing experience with a proven track record of optimizing and scaling paid campaigns on multiple channels
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in paid search advertising (Google Ads, Facebook, etc) with a high level of proficiency
  • Experience working across and managing agency partners on a number of platforms and channels including but not limited to paid search, paid social, programmatic,

CTV/ OTT, newsletter and editorial advertising, and podcast advertising

  • Experience building acquisition forecasts including budget and performance targets related to CAC, LTV, ROAS, and revenue projections.
  • A strong understanding of industry-standard marketing platforms and analytics tools and experience working with technical teams to ensure proper implementation and optimization of marketing technology stack.
  • Experience in creative testing and iteration, understanding the balance between brand and performance while driving scale.
  • Experience managing and working cross-functionally with key company stakeholders.
  • The ability to think about long-term, big picture goals while simultaneously focusing on immediate, short-term needs.
  • Data-driven, results-oriented, and detail-focused with the ability to translate data into actionable next steps
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to pivot as needed to achieve project goals
